Hello there! ArduBlock is a graphical Arduino programmer (think Scratch) that will really be helpful for many of you… Let’s get it installed and we can play with it =)
Wiki tutorial - ArduBlock! You get an invaluable source of knowledge about connecting modules to Arduino and block programming on ArduBlock. Download and use mBlock across different devices. Supports Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iOS,and Android. 1/3 How to EDIT and CREATE Blocks in Ardublock WITHOUT Eclipse 1/3: PART 1/3Hi, a lot of people are becoming crazy with the install of eclipse, maven, open block, etc. And all this for Ardublock.I show you how to EDIT (2 ways) and CREATE blocks without the crazy. Runs on Windows / Linux / Mac OS X; Ardublockly is still under development and a few features are not yet implemented. A to-do list can be found in the TODO.md file. Currently tested under Windows with Python 2.7 and 3.4 and in Linux and MacOS X with Python 2.7.

STEPS
1. The first thing you need to do is install the Arduino IDE. You can click here to download version 1.0.6 for Mac OS X or you can visit the downloads page to see other options.
2. Download this special ArduBlock package (from SparkFun). It is a .zip file containing a few folders that have been organized in a very specific way.
3. Move the file “tools.zip” (don’t unzip it yet) to the folder named, “Arduino” inside your “Documents” folder.
4. Now you can unzip the file “tools.zip” Depending on how you’ve customized your Arduino IDE (or not) you may have other items inside the “Arduino” folder.
5. Double-check to make sure the folder structure is still in tact. Starting from the “Documents” folder you should see folders inside folders in this order: “Documents/Arduino/tools/ArduBlockTool/tool/ardublock-sandbox-071814.jar” If you don’t see this order you can change the folder names so they match the above perfectly.
6. Once you’ve got this installed you can open Arduino 1.0.6 (or quit and restart if its already open) and you will see a new option in the “Tools” menu

9. One last thing… did you notice that as you move the program tiles around in ArduBlock the code actually gets written and updated in the IDE!?!?!?! Isn’t that SOOOO HELPFUL!!!
